NexusShift Mag: overview
The NexusShift Mag is a premium sequential shifter that uses magnetic resistance to recreate the weight and crisp engagement of a real racing sequential gearbox.
Upshift force, downshift force and overall resistance adjust independently, from light rally-style shifts to heavy GT-style engagement. Non-contact opto-electronic sensors detect every shift precisely with zero wear.
A built-in mini button box on the base gives quick access to pit limiter, lights or wipers, and the powder-coated stainless steel body comes with a U-shaped bracket that adjusts tilt, yaw and alignment.
Who the nexusShift Mag is for
Drivers of sequential-box cars:
Features in detail
Magnetic resistance
Real gearbox engagement.
Adjustable force
Up and down independently.
Opto sensors
Wear-free, precise.
Mini button box
Up to 10 programmable outputs.
Stainless steel
Compact, rigid, powder-coated.
Adjustable mounting
Height, angle, tilt and yaw via the U-bracket.
Compatibility
PC via USB, no drivers needed; tuned in the configuration software. Fits aluminium profile rigs and full-frame cockpits.
Building a sim racing or flight setup
Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.
Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.
Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.
Setup and use
Care and maintenance
Check mounting bolts regularly.

Dual-rail mechanical dual-mode shifter: overview
This full-metal dual-mode shifter is built like a real gearbox. A true dual-rail selector, inspired by dual- and triple-rail road and rally gearboxes, gives precise shifts and alignment, and a hex drive keeps the centre position true with minimal play.
A mechanical mode collar switches between a gated H-pattern and a spring-loaded sequential mode, engaging mechanical locks and remapping the sensors at the same time – a 9th sensor disables H-pattern logic and provides clean 9th/10th inputs in sequential mode.
Each unit is hand-tuned for gate resistance and travel, built from aircraft-grade aluminium and tensile steel, and connects with a robust external USB-C port. Choose black and red, black, or silver.
Who the dual-rail mechanical dual-mode shifter is for
Drivers who want a real gearbox feel:

Mechanical sequential shifter: overview
This sequential shifter recreates the true mechanical feel of a race-car dog-box gearbox. An inertia mechanism transfers real momentum on each shift, so you feel the kick of a genuine sequential selector rather than a simple click.
Dual-stage engagement reproduces the resistance and preload of a dog-box, with progressive mechanical feedback. You can tune the feel from light and fast to heavy and mechanical to suit the car.
It is CNC-machined entirely from solid billet aluminium with hard black anodising, with ball bearings, compression springs and internal dampers for consistent engagement.

Active force feedback shifter: overview
This force feedback shifter is an H-pattern shifter that fights back. A high-torque servo motor drives resistance, vibration and kickback through the lever based on what your virtual car is actually doing, so you feel drivetrain load, engine vibration and the grind of a missed shift.
It is fully integrated with SimHub telemetry with effectively zero latency, and it can lock the gate dynamically under load to stop mis-shifts – just like a real gearbox that will not let you force a gear.
Built on a proven heavy mechanical H-pattern design and machined from aerospace-grade billet aluminium, it is the most physical shifting experience you can add to a sim rig.
Who the active force feedback shifter is for
Drivers who want the ultimate shifting realism:
Features in detail
Servo-driven force feedback
Resistance replicates real drivetrain loading, from easy cruising shifts to heavy changes under power.
Gear grinding and kickback
Feel a grind or a kick if you rush a shift or miss the clutch.
Dynamic gate locking
The gate can lock under load to prevent mis-shifts, as in a real car.
Native SimHub integration
Effects are driven by live telemetry with zero-latency response.
Adjustable haptics
Set feedback intensity for each type of vehicle.
4- to 6-speed layouts
Customise the gate configuration from 4 to 6 speeds.
In-session adjustment
An integrated rotary encoder lets you change settings without leaving the car.
Left or right mounting
Switch orientation for left- or right-hand shifting.
Billet aluminium
Aerospace-grade billet aluminium with an anodised finish.
Compatibility
PC with SimHub for the active effects. Mounts on sim rigs with a suitable shifter mount; it is a large, heavy shifter, so use an oversized or reinforced shifter mount such as our NexusMount oversized shifter mount.
Works in any PC sim that SimHub supports for telemetry.
Keep the mechanism free of dust and check mounting bolts regularly, as the servo applies real force to the mount. Use only the supplied power arrangement.

Building a sim racing or flight setup
Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force-feedback motor, the rim (wheel add-on) clips on with a quick-release and the pedals connect to the base. Rims and pedals must be compatible with your base, and the base decides which consoles are supported.
Force feedback types. Bungee-cord wheels recentre with a spring but give no active feedback; belt or hybrid-drive bases use a motor with belts or gears for detailed feedback; direct-drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the strongest, most precise feel.
Platform licensing. PlayStation and Xbox wheels are licensed for their console; PC works with almost everything. Check the platform line in the compatibility section before ordering, and plan a stable desk clamp or cockpit for high-torque bases.
Setup and use
Care and maintenance
Keep the base's vents clear, update firmware with the manufacturer's software, wipe rims with a dry or slightly damp cloth (use a suede brush on Alcantara and suede), and check desk clamps and cockpit bolts before each session. Unplug the base before swapping rims unless the quick-release supports hot-swapping.
