NexusLink quick release lock pin: overview
This is the replacement lock pin for the NexusLink quick release used on the NexusDrive Elite direct drive bases.
It slides on and off easily and locks the wheel, quick release and motor together with a rock-solid connection – no play, no rattles.
The pin is included with the base; buy this if you lose or damage yours, or want a spare.
Who the nexusLink quick release lock pin is for
NexusDrive Elite owners:
Features in detail
Original fit
Made for the NexusLink quick release.
Solid lock
No play between wheel and base.
Easy on and off
Fast wheel swaps.
Compatibility
NexusLink quick release on NexusDrive Elite Sport, Elite Pro and Elite Ultimate bases.
Building a sim racing or flight setup
Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.
Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.
Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.
Setup and use
Care and maintenance
Keep it clean and dry; replace if bent.

M8 x 25 mm hex screws (set of 6): overview
This set of six M8 x 25 mm hex socket screws is a common fixing across aluminium profile sim rigs and monitor stands – the screw you use with M8 T-nuts to fix brackets, mounts and accessories to the profile.
Keep a set on hand to replace lost screws, add accessories or rebuild your rig layout.
Pair them with M8 T-nuts and washers from our spare parts collection.
Who the M8 x 25 mm hex screws (set of 6) is for
Rig owners who need spare fixings:
Features in detail
M8 x 25 mm
Standard length for profile brackets.
Hex socket head
Tighten with a hex key.
Set of 6
Enough for a bracket or two.
Compatibility
Our aluminium profile cockpits and monitor stands, and other 40 mm 8 mm-slot profile rigs using M8 T-nuts.
Choosing and building a sim rig
Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.
Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.
Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.
Setup and use
Care and maintenance
Do not overtighten; recheck after the first sessions.

M8 hex screws and spring T-nuts: overview
These sets combine carbon steel M8 spring-leaf T-nuts with M8 x 16 mm hex screws for 8 mm slot aluminium profile.
The spring leaf holds the T-nut in position in the slot while you line up a bracket, and the 19 mm nut's large contact surface gives a strong, shock-resistant joint.
Choose 10 or 20 sets.
Who the M8 hex screws and spring T-nuts is for
Anyone fitting accessories to profile rigs:
Features in detail
Spring-leaf T-nuts
Stay in place in the slot.
M8 x 16 mm screws
Common bracket length.
Carbon steel
Hard and durable.
Compatibility
8 mm slot aluminium profile, as used on our NexusRig aluminium cockpits and monitor stands.
Mounting on aluminium profile rigs
The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.
Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.
Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.
Setup and use
Care and maintenance
Do not over-tighten; store spares dry.

M8 hex bolts and ball-bearing T-nuts: overview
These sets pair carbon steel M8 ball-bearing T-nuts with M8 x 16 mm hex bolts – the standard fastener for mounting anything to 8 mm slot aluminium profile on a sim rig.
The spring ball holds each T-nut where you place it in the slot, so it doesn't drop to the bottom while you line up a bracket, and the large contact surface gives a strong, shock-resistant connection.
Choose 10 or 20 sets.

M8 x 30 mm hardened hex screws: overview
These hardened M8x30 bolts are the longer fastener for thicker brackets, accessories and structural components on aluminium profile rigs.
The hex socket head installs with standard hex tools and gives excellent torque and clamping force.
Pack of 5, hardened high-strength steel.
Who the M8 x 30 mm hardened hex screws is for
Rig builders and maintainers:
Features in detail
30 mm length
For thicker brackets and parts.
Hardened steel
Resists stripping; corrosion-resistant.
Hex socket head
Easy to install with hex keys.
Compatibility
For M8 T-nuts in 8 mm slot aluminium profile and M8 threaded parts.
Do not over-tighten into aluminium.
