NexusSeat Truck: overview

The NexusSeat Truck is a truck simulator seat that recreates the elevated, supported feel of a real truck cab. Its suspension-style base cushions every bump, kerb strike and hard brake instead of sending it straight into your back, so long hauls feel much closer to an air-suspended cab than a rigid racing bucket.

Full height adjustment lets you set the correct eye line to your screens and reach to your wheel, shifter and pedals – essential for the upright cab posture of trucking and flying. The headrest, armrests, lumbar support and recline all adjust too.

Underneath is a welded steel frame with dual-sided recline locks and cold-moulded high-density foam, built for daily home and commercial use.

Compatibility

Bottom-mounts to compatible rails, sliders and simulator frames: our tube cockpits (NexusRig Classic, Apex, Velocity, Velocity Carbon, GT Hybrid) and aluminium profile cockpits (Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie, NexusHaul), plus many other rigs. Seat sliders are sold separately.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Fit sliders to the seat base if you want fore-aft adjustment.
2. Bolt the seat to the cockpit (about 15–20 minutes).
3. Set height for your screen eye line, then recline, lumbar, headrest and armrests.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the upholstery with a damp cloth and mild soap. Check mounting bolts periodically. Fabric wear, marks and scratches are normal wear, not defects.

Returns

Warranty
