NexusSeat Hybrid Formula Black: overview
The NexusSeat Hybrid Formula Black is a premium sim racing seat that puts you in a hybrid formula and GT position – lower and more reclined than a GT seat, more upright than a pure formula tub.
Its ultra-rigid fibreglass shell stays stable under heavy braking, strong force feedback and motion, so every input reaches your body. Leather-style cushions with reinforced, double-stitched wear areas keep long sessions comfortable.
It is side-mount compatible for precise angle and position adjustment, and has a wear-resistant, UV-resistant, easy-clean finish. Choose seat only, or seat with brackets.

Compatibility
Waist 28–44 in. Our tube cockpits (NexusRig Classic, Apex, Velocity, GT Hybrid, Compact, Formula, F1 Replica Emerald) and our aluminium profile cockpits (NexusRig Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie) and other 8 mm T-slot extrusion rigs. Works on motion platforms. Seat sliders sold separately.
Choosing and building a sim rig
Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.
Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.
Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

- Fit side-mount brackets to the seat.
- Bolt the seat to the sliders or rig.
- Set angle and position.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the shell and cushions with a damp cloth; avoid solvents.

Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.
Warranty
Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
