NexusSeat Hybrid Formula (Blue Edition): overview
The NexusSeat Hybrid Formula Blue Edition is a formula seat for sim racing that also does GT. Its geometry was developed with Formula One engineers to give an authentic single-seater recline, and it transitions to a more upright GT posture for endurance, touring and multi-class racing.
The ultra-rigid fibreglass (FRP) shell stays completely stable with high-torque direct drive bases, heavy load cell and hydraulic brakes, and motion platforms. Injection-moulded motorsport foam, removable Velcro-adjustable pads and a repositionable headrest let every driver fine-tune the fit.
This edition is finished in a blue and black team livery with colour-coded cushions.

Compatibility
Side-mount compatible with standard brackets across many brands; fits our tube cockpits (NexusRig Classic, Apex, Velocity, Velocity Carbon, GT Hybrid) and aluminium profile cockpits (Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie, NexusHaul). Seat sliders sold separately.

Choosing and building a sim rig
Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.
Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.
Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.
Setup and use
- Choose 'seat with brackets' if your cockpit has no side brackets.
- Fit the brackets and bolt the seat to the cockpit.
- Set the recline for formula or upright for GT via the brackets.
- Adjust the pads and headrest to your body.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the cushions with a damp cloth; the pads can be removed for cleaning. Simulation use only – not FIA approved and not for real vehicles.

Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.
Warranty
Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
