NexusFlight Yoke Pro: overview

The NexusFlight Yoke Pro is an airliner-style yoke handle with a 4.3-inch touchscreen in the centre.

The screen shows flight information, checklists, timers and axis monitoring, while 26 programmable inputs – buttons, axes, triggers and thumbsticks – are set up per aircraft and profile.

Hall-effect sensors keep inputs precise and wear-free, and the RGB lighting is fully adjustable. It clicks onto the NexusFlight force feedback yoke bases.

Building a home flight simulator

Stick, yoke or both. Fighter jets and helicopters fly with a stick and throttle (HOTAS); airliners and general aviation use a yoke or a side stick with a throttle quadrant. Force feedback bases add real control loading: you feel airspeed, trim and stall buffet through the controls.

Panels make it real. Autopilot panels, flight computer displays and instrument screens put physical buttons where the virtual cockpit has them, so you fly by feel instead of clicking with a mouse.

Mounting. A desk clamp is enough to start; a flight cockpit or side mounts on a sim rig keep controls rigid and at the right height. Rudder pedals complete the setup for coordinated turns, taxiing and crosswind landings.

Setup and use

1. Click the handle onto the yoke base quick release.
2. Map inputs in the cockpit configuration software.
3. Pick checklists and pages for the touchscreen.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the screen with a microfibre cloth.
