NexusFlight Force Yoke Base Pro: overview

The NexusFlight Force Yoke Base Pro is a professional force feedback yoke base for general aviation and airliner pilots.

Dual high-performance servo motors deliver 9 Nm of continuous roll torque and up to 210 N of pitch force, with 150 mm of pitch travel and a full 180° roll axis, read by a 15-bit encoder and a 280 MHz processor.

Native telemetry force feedback works without plugins in MSFS 2024, X-Plane 12 and DCS. A steel chassis, an all-aluminium quick release for swapping handles and 13 customisable switches complete it.

Building a home flight simulator

Stick, yoke or both. Fighter jets and helicopters fly with a stick and throttle (HOTAS); airliners and general aviation use a yoke or a side stick with a throttle quadrant. Force feedback bases add real control loading: you feel airspeed, trim and stall buffet through the controls.

Panels make it real. Autopilot panels, flight computer displays and instrument screens put physical buttons where the virtual cockpit has them, so you fly by feel instead of clicking with a mouse.

Mounting. A desk clamp is enough to start; a flight cockpit or side mounts on a sim rig keep controls rigid and at the right height. Rudder pedals complete the setup for coordinated turns, taxiing and crosswind landings.

Setup and use

1. Mount the base on a clamp or in a cockpit.
2. Fit a yoke handle on the quick release.
3. Connect power and USB.
4. Set force profiles, buttons and curves in the cockpit configuration software.

Care and maintenance

Keep the shaft clean; update the firmware from time to time.
