The NexusDrive Core 9 is a 9 Nm direct drive wheel base for racers who take their performance seriously.
A high-performance 18-slot/16-pole servo motor and a 21-bit magnetic encoder deliver ultra-smooth, highly detailed force feedback, refined by the latest algorithm with enhanced dynamic effects.
An aviation-grade aluminium housing keeps it light and tough, intelligent temperature control with active cooling keeps it consistent, and an industrial slip ring powers wheels with no cable to twist.
Drivers stepping into direct drive:
Detailed direct drive.
2,097,152 steps.
Monitoring and active cooling.
No twisting cables.
Pedals, dash, shifter, handbrake, E-stop.
Platform: PC. Titles include iRacing, Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Le Mans Ultimate, the F1 series, Forza Motorsport, DiRT Rally 2.0 and EA SPORTS WRC.
Wheels: the NexusWheel range on the Core quick release.
Mounting: 4-hole bottom mount; optional table clamp and side mounting.
Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.
Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.
Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.
Keep the vents clear; update the firmware regularly.
