NexusDrive Core 6 Racing Set: overview

The NexusDrive Core 6 Racing Set is a complete direct drive racing wheel and pedal set: base, steering wheel, two pedals and a desk clamp in one box.

The compact base delivers 6 Nm of constant torque, and its 21-bit magnetic encoder, 600 MHz processor and latest force feedback algorithm give detailed, responsive road feel. Smart cooling keeps it consistent through long sessions.

The 280 mm wheel has 22 programmable inputs and 10 RGB rev lights, and the Hall-sensor pedals adjust in height, width and curve. It is an ideal first direct drive setup on a desk, and ready for a cockpit later.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Clamp the base to your desk (or bolt it to a rig).
2. Click the wheel onto the quick release.
3. Connect the pedals, power and USB.
4. Install the configuration software for PC and the mobile app and pick a game profile.

Care and maintenance

Keep the base vents clear; update the firmware from time to time.
