5-speaker mount kit for aluminium rigs: overview

This speaker mount kit places five speakers around your aluminium profile cockpit for proper surround sound: hear cars alongside, engine notes and cockpit sounds where they belong.

Adjustable brackets of laser-cut steel with a matte black finish let you position each speaker, and every T-nut and screw is included.

It fits most speakers with a wall-mount option; speakers without a rear mount can be fixed with double-sided tape.

Rigs: our aluminium profile cockpits (NexusRig Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie, NexusHaul Truck) and other 8 mm T-slot extrusion rigs.

Speakers: most with a wall-mount option, including Logitech surround sets.

Mounting on aluminium profile rigs

The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.

Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.

Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.

Setup and use

1. Fit the brackets to the profile with T-nuts.
2. Mount the speakers.
3. Aim them at your head position.

Returns
