3-Piece Speaker Mount Kit for NexusRig Fold Wheel Stand & Aluminium Profile Rigs

3-piece speaker mount kit: overview

This 3-piece speaker mount kit puts your speakers right in front of you on a NexusRig Fold wheel stand or an aluminium profile rig, so engine notes, tyre squeal and spotter calls come from the right direction.

It is laser-cut steel painted matte black – light but strong – and it supports speakers that have a wall-mount point.

Assembly instructions for the wheel stand are included.

Who the 3-piece speaker mount kit is for

Drivers who use speakers instead of headphones:

• NexusRig Fold wheel stand owners
• Aluminium profile rig owners
• Anyone building a surround sound sim setup

Features in detail

Three mounts

Position a centre speaker and a pair of front speakers.

Laser-cut steel

Light, stiff and painted matte black.

Wall-mount support

Supports speaker systems with a wall-mount fixing.

Wheel stand ready

Fits all NexusRig Fold wheel stands; instructions included.

Compatibility

Fits the NexusRig Fold wheel stand and other aluminium profile rigs.

For aluminium profile rigs you need 6 mm T-nuts, which are not supplied.

Mounting on aluminium profile rigs

The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.

Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.

Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.

Setup and use

1. Fit the mounts to the wheel stand following the included instructions, or to your profile rig with 6 mm T-nuts.
2. Attach your speakers using their wall-mount points.
3. Angle them toward your seating position and tighten.

Care and maintenance

Check fixings occasionally; vibration from the wheel can loosen screws.
