Sim Rig PC Shelf – Steel Computer Shelf for Aluminium Profile Cockpits & Monitor Stands
Delivery expect 4-8 business days.
Sim rig PC shelf: overview
This sim rig PC shelf mounts your gaming PC, a simulator control box or streaming hardware directly to your cockpit or monitor stand. The PC sits off the floor, cables stay short and tidy, and the whole simulator becomes one clean, integrated unit.
The shelf is folded steel with raised edges that stop the PC sliding off, and slots for optional straps if you want it locked down. Two universal brackets let it mount on wide or narrow uprights.
At 580 x 300 mm it takes most mid-size and full-size towers.
Who the sim rig PC shelf is for
Anyone who wants a tidy, integrated simulator:
- Sim racers with direct drive bases, motion or multiple displays and lots of cables
- Flight simmers with large monitor stands
- Streamers and esports setups that want a clean look
- Owners of aluminium profile cockpits and monitor stands
Features in detail
Folded steel construction
Folded steel gives a rigid, durable platform that does not bow under a heavy tower.
Raised edge folds
Integrated edge folds stop the PC from sliding off when the rig vibrates.
Strap slots
Built-in slots let you add straps for extra security, useful on rigs with motion or bass shakers.
Wide or narrow brackets
Adjustable universal brackets support both wide and narrow mounting points.
Many positions
Mount it on the wheel uprights, beside the seat, or on the rear or side of a monitor stand, including integrated and freestanding triple stands.
Better airflow, less dust
Lifting the PC off the floor reduces dust intake and improves airflow around the case.
Compatibility
Fits our aluminium profile cockpits (NexusRig Rookie, Sprint, Vanguard, Titan and Formula Hybrid) and most third-party aluminium profile rigs and monitor stands with 8 mm slots.
Suitable for most mid-size and full-size PC towers that fit a 580 x 300 mm footprint; measure your case before ordering.
Mounting on aluminium profile rigs
The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.
Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.
Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.
Setup and use
- Choose the position: wheel uprights, beside the seat or on the monitor stand.
- Slide T-nuts into the profile and fit the two brackets in the wide or narrow configuration.
- Bolt the shelf to the brackets, check it is level and tighten.
- Place the PC, add straps through the slots if needed and route cables.
Care and maintenance
Leave space around the PC's vents. Check the bracket bolts from time to time, especially on rigs with motion or shakers. Dust the shelf and wipe it with a dry cloth.
