Red Rubber Slot Cover Strip for Aluminium Profile Sim Rigs – 2 m Anti-Slip, Anti-Rattle Trim

Red rubber slot cover strip: overview

This 2 m rubber strip presses into the slots of aluminium profile, closing them against dust and adding a red accent to a black rig.

It dampens small vibrations and rattles, protects accessories from metal-on-metal scratches, and adds grip under trays, shelves and mounts.

No tools are needed: press it in, and pull it out again when you move a mount.

Rigs: our aluminium profile cockpits (NexusRig Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie, NexusHaul Truck) and other 8 mm T-slot extrusion rigs.

Mounting on aluminium profile rigs

The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.

Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.

Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.

Setup and use

1. Clean the slot.
2. Cut the strip to length.
3. Press it into the slot along the profile.

Care and maintenance

Wipe with a damp cloth.
