Oversized 18-stage seat brackets: overview

These oversized side-mount seat brackets hold most side-mounted bucket seats and give you 18 adjustment stages to find the right angle, from upright GT to reclined formula.

They are made of steel with a durable black powder coat and include mounting points for shifter and flight sim mounts, so the brackets double as a base for side controls.

They fit our aluminium profile cockpits, other extrusion rigs and many non-extrusion rigs.

Compatibility

Rigs: our aluminium profile cockpits (NexusRig Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie, NexusHaul Truck) and other 8 mm T-slot extrusion rigs, and many tube rigs (check the dimensions). Not for the NexusRig Apex.

Seats: NexusSeat GT, GT Elite, Rally and Hybrid Formula, and most side-mount bucket seats.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Bolt the brackets to the sides of the seat.
2. Bolt them to the sliders or rig.
3. Pick the stage that gives your angle and tighten.

Recheck the bolts after the first sessions.

Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
