NexusWheel Starter X – 280 mm Aluminium Wheel for PC & Xbox, 22 Buttons, RGB Rev Lights

NexusWheel Starter X: overview

The NexusWheel Starter X is the Xbox-compatible wheel of the NexusDrive Core range: fit it to a Core base and you can race on Xbox as well as PC.

A solid aluminium rim with non-slip, sweat-proof ISF PU grips makes it durable and comfortable, and aluminium paddles give clean shifts.

Twenty-two buttons and a 10-LED RGB rev indicator keep the essentials at hand. Rim mods turn it into a 12-inch round wheel or a formula wheel.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Click the wheel onto the base.
2. Connect the base to the Xbox or PC.
3. Map buttons in-game or in the configuration software for PC and the mobile app.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the grips with a damp cloth.
