NexusWheel Hypercar V12 Replica: overview

The NexusWheel Hypercar V12 Replica recreates the steering wheel of a modern V12 hypercar from original design data, with the same 340 mm diameter and control layout.

A high-strength die-cast aluminium frame is wrapped in soft, hand-stitched microfibre leather, and carbon-fibre magnetic Hall paddles and dual-clutch paddles give crisp, consistent shifting and race starts.

Sixteen backlit front buttons, ten rear buttons and four rotary encoders give 34 programmable inputs, tested beyond 300,000 cycles. It fits every NexusDrive Core base and other brands via the universal hub.

Compatibility

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Click the wheel onto the quick release.
2. Map buttons and lighting in the configuration software for PC and the mobile app.
3. Pick single or dual clutch mode.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the leather with a dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid solvents.
