NexusRig Velocity wheel mount plate: overview

This high-grade carbon steel wheel plate turns the NexusRig Velocity into a deck-mount cockpit for the widest range of direct drive and belt-driven wheel bases.

It is powder-coated black with no weak points, for zero-flex force feedback transfer, and adjusts quickly without tools when fitted with the Velocity side mounts.

All mounting hardware is included.

Rigs: NexusRig Velocity (all versions) and NexusRig GT Hybrid; requires the Velocity side mounts.

Bases: our NexusDrive range; Fanatec CSL DD, GT DD Pro, ClubSport DD and Podium; MOZA R3–R25; Asetek; Logitech RS50, PRO and G29/G923; Thrustmaster T300/TX/T-GT/T818; CAMMUS and more.

Mounting on aluminium profile rigs

The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.

Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.

Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.

Setup and use

1. Fit the side mounts to the Velocity.
2. Bolt the plate to them.
3. Mount your base and set position.

Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
