NexusRig Velocity Flight Sim Mount Kit – Left & Right HOTAS, Joystick & Throttle Mounts

NexusRig Velocity flight sim mount kit: overview

This kit turns the NexusRig Velocity cockpit into a flight simulator with a left and a right HOTAS mount for your joystick and throttle.

Both mounts bolt straight to the sides of the Velocity – no adapters – and adjust fully so the stick and throttle sit where your hands fall naturally.

The matte black brackets are rigid and flex-free, and they fit flight controls from all the top brands.

Who the nexusRig Velocity flight sim mount kit is for

NexusRig Velocity owners who fly:

• Combat and space sim pilots
• Airliner simmers with a throttle quadrant
• Racers who want one rig for both

Features in detail

Universal

Fits all top HOTAS brands.

Compatibility

Rigs: NexusRig Velocity (all colourways and Velocity Carbon) and the NexusRig GT Hybrid.

Mounting on aluminium profile rigs

The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.

Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.

Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.

Setup and use

1. Bolt the left and right mounts to the Velocity frame.
2. Fit your stick and throttle.
3. Adjust height, reach and angle.

Care and maintenance

Check bolts regularly.
