The NexusRig Velocity Carbon is the flagship of the Velocity family: a carbon fibre sim rig whose chassis is crafted from carbon fibre with precision-laid weave patterns and high-temperature resin curing. It is ultra-light, ultra-rigid and looks every bit like a professional race car structure.
Every joint and plate is reinforced with structural carbon laminate, creating a zero-flex mounting system for direct drive wheel bases and load cell pedals – no vibration, no flex, no drift – and sharper tactile feedback on every turn.
It keeps the Velocity's hybrid geometry and tool-free adjustment, so you can switch between formula and GT positions in minutes.
Drivers who race formula and GT:
Precision-laid weave and high-temperature resin curing for an ultra-light, ultra-rigid, race-ready structure.
Joints and plates reinforced with structural carbon laminate for absolute consistency with direct drive and load cell pedals.
The stiff structure transmits detail cleanly, so you feel more of every turn.
The Velocity's tool-free seat, wheel deck and pedal tray let you change position in minutes.
Mirrors the look and feel of professional racing cars.
Wheel torque: up to 30 Nm. Three wheel mounting options cover most bases: a wheel plate, a front mount and a side mount.
Front mount: Simucube SC1/SC2/SC3 (Sport, Pro, Ultimate), Simagic Alpha, Alpha Mini and Ultimate, VRS DirectForce Pro (15/20 Nm), Fanatec Podium DD (without front plate), AccuForce V1/V2, Immsource ET3/ET5, Leo Bodnar / Kollmorgen AKM 52–54, Bodnar 53 series, Lenze MCS12, MiGe 130ST and Ricmotech Mini-Mite. Asetek Invicta, Forte and La Prima use the dedicated Asetek front mount.
Wheel deck: Asetek (with adaptor), AccuForce, Conspit Ares, Fanatec CSL Elite/ClubSport/ClubSport DD and DD+/Podium/CSL DD/GT DD Pro, Logitech G25 to G923, G PRO and RS50, MOZA R3 to R21, R21 Ultra and R25 Ultra, Nacon Revosim RS Pure, PXN, Simagic Alpha series (Alpha EVO with its side-mount kit), Thermaltake G6, Turtle Beach Velocity One Race, Thrustmaster T150 to T818 (with adaptor), VNM Elite, Supreme and Xtreme. Fanatec DD bases can also use the side mount with spacer plates.
Pedals: pre-drilled for the major brands – Asetek, Cammus, Conspit CPP, Cube Controls, Fanatec CSL Elite and ClubSport (incl. inverted), Heusinkveld Sprint/Ultimate/Pro, Logitech, Meca, MOZA CRP/SRP, Simagic P500/P1000/P2000, Simucube Co-Pedal and ActivePedal, SimJack, Sim-Lab, Simtrecs, Thrustmaster T-LCM/T3PA, Venym, VRS, VNM and more.
Shifters, handbrakes and flight controls: with optional mounts – Fanatec, Heusinkveld, MOZA, Simagic, Thrustmaster, VNM, Asetek, BDH, Logitech, Pro-Sim, Venym, Conspit; rudders and yokes from Thrustmaster, Logitech, Virpil, Honeycomb and Turtle Beach.
Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.
Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.
Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.
Clean carbon surfaces with a soft damp cloth; avoid solvents and abrasive pads. Do not over-tighten bolts on carbon parts. Check fixings monthly.
