NexusRig F1 Replica: overview

The NexusRig F1 Replica in Emerald Edition livery is an F1 simulator cockpit that puts you in a genuine low Formula One seating position. It ships with a team-edition formula seat – low, with an ergonomic shell and soft cushions – for authentic immersion and comfort.

Under the bodywork is the same proven package as our formula rigs: an industrial-strength powder-coated steel chassis with ABS panels, a strengthened pedal plate pre-drilled for load cell and hydraulic pedals, and a reinforced wheel mount rated for direct drive bases up to 25 Nm.

Add the optional integrated single monitor stand and you have a complete, show-stopping formula simulator.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Assemble the chassis and fit the seat, pedal plate and wheel mount.
2. Mount your wheel base and pedals.
3. Set a formula pedal position (heels low, knees raised) and the wheel close to your chest.
4. Tighten everything and add the optional integrated monitor stand.

Care and maintenance

Check bolts after the first week and then monthly. Wipe steel and ABS with a damp cloth; avoid harsh chemicals on the livery.

Returns

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
