NexusRide Moto Simulator: overview

The NexusRide Moto is a motorcycle simulator built for home riders who want real lean, balance and control – not a gamepad. Its control system combines body lean with handlebar input and adapts in real time to your riding technique, including counter-steering that you can switch off while you learn.

There are no motors and no delay: a passive mechanical lean system with interchangeable springs and pneumatic damping lets you feel weight transfer, balance and instability directly, without the power draw, latency and cost of powered motorcycle rigs.

Choose lean-only, arcade or full simulation mode, tune the control sensitivity, and ride MotoGP, Ride, GP Bikes, TT Isle of Man and more on PC.

Who the nexusRide Moto Simulator is for

Riders who want to ride at home:

  • Track-day riders practising body position and lines
  • MotoGP, Ride and GP Bikes players
  • Beginners learning lean and counter-steering
  • Sim racers adding two wheels to their setup
  • Riders 150–200 cm tall up to 136 kg

Features in detail

Body lean plus handlebars

A dual-input steering system relates lean and steering continuously, like a real bike.

Counter-steering

Built into the control logic, with an option to turn it off while learning.

Three riding modes

Lean-only, arcade (steering-focused) and full simulation, with adjustable sensitivity.

No motors, no latency

A passive system with interchangeable springs and pneumatic damping gives instant response.

Real controls

Quarter-turn Hall-sensor throttle, Hall-sensor front brake lever, rear brake, gear shift lever, clutch and full XInput handlebar buttons.

On-board screen

A 2.4-inch colour LCD for telemetry, settings and calibration.

Expandable platform

Designed for future telemetry, force feedback, haptics, wind and motion accessories.

Compatibility

PC (Windows), appearing as a standard XInput controller, with profiles for GP Bikes, Ride 4/5/6, MotoGP 23–26, TT Isle of Man 1–3, RiMS Racing and Lanesplit. VR is supported natively in GP Bikes; other titles may need third-party tools such as UEVR.

Consoles are unofficially supported through a third-party USB adapter (sold separately); telemetry accessories may not work on console.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

  1. Assemble the frame and level it with the M10 swivel feet.
  2. Fit the springs that suit your weight and riding style.
  3. Connect USB (controller) and, optionally, the second USB (telemetry), plus the 24 V power supply.
  4. Calibrate on the built-in screen, choose a riding mode and load the game profile.

Care and maintenance

Indoor, dry use only. Check the frame bolts and springs periodically and keep the lean mechanism clean. Swap springs if the lean feels too soft or too stiff for the rider.
