NexusPulse pedal haptic module: overview

The NexusPulse pedal haptic module puts vibration feedback straight into your pedal, so you feel what the car is doing under your foot instead of guessing from the screen.

Its high-performance motor produces precise, adjustable effects from 0 to 100 Hz: ABS pulsing, traction control, engine RPM, wheel lock-up, wheel slip and gear shifts.

It fits on a throttle, brake or clutch pedal. This listing is a single extra module and needs the NexusPulse control box to work; if you do not have one yet, choose the NexusPulse haptic kit.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Fit the L-bracket to the back of the pedal.
2. Mount the module on the bracket.
3. Plug the module into the matching port on the control box.
4. Tune the effects in the configuration software for PC and the mobile app.

Care and maintenance

Check the bracket screws now and then; keep the cable clear of the pedal travel.
