NexusPedal Booster Active: overview

The NexusPedal Booster Active is an active force feedback pedal: a high-torque servo motor moves the pedal itself, so you feel ABS, traction control, gear shifts and G-forces through your foot in real time.

A 200 kg load cell and a high-resolution angle sensor read every input, and the pedal's feel – stiffness, travel, bite point, curve – changes with one click in the software instead of swapping springs.

Set it up as a brake, throttle or clutch, and adjust travel (0–25°) and angle (0–15°) to your seat. It is the most adaptable pedal you can put in a rig.

Drivers who want the ultimate pedal:

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

  1. Mount the pedal on the base plate or rig.
  2. Connect power (48 V) and data.
  3. Choose brake, throttle or clutch mode.
  4. Tune feel and effects in the configuration software for PC and the mobile app.

Care and maintenance

Keep the area around the motor free of dust; update the firmware.
