NexusMount Universal Wheel Deck Plate – Upgrade-Ready Direct Drive Wheel Base Plate (Requires Side Supports)

NexusMount universal wheel deck plate: overview

The NexusMount universal wheel deck plate is a future-proof direct drive wheel base mount: when you change wheel base, you change a plate, not your whole rig.

The 6 mm high-grade carbon steel deck is powder-coated black with no weak points, for zero-flex force feedback transfer, and red anodised aluminium plates adjust angle and fore-aft position.

This plate needs the NexusMount wheel mount side supports (sold separately); together they are 580 mm wide.

Who the nexusMount universal wheel deck plate is for

Aluminium rig owners planning upgrades:

• Drivers switching wheel bases
• Esports arenas and training simulators

Features in detail

Zero flex

6 mm carbon steel deck.

Adjustable

Angle and fore-aft via anodised plates.

Upgrade-ready

Swap bases by changing the plate.

580 mm with side supports

Fits standard aluminium rigs.

Compatibility

Our aluminium profile cockpits (NexusRig Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie) and most other extrusion rigs. Requires the NexusMount wheel mount side supports.

Mounting on aluminium profile rigs

The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.

Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.

Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.

Setup and use

1. Fit the side supports to the rig.
2. Bolt the deck plate between them.
3. Mount your base and set angle and position.

Care and maintenance

Recheck bolts after the first sessions.
