NexusMount kit for Fanatec DD: overview
This NexusMount 2-way base kit fits Fanatec direct drive bases natively – CSL DD, Gran Turismo DD Pro, ClubSport DD and DD+, Podium DD1, DD2 and Podium DD, and GT DD Extreme – with no extra bracket.
Its patent-pending 120x40 mm aerospace-grade aluminium channel installs vertically for knee clearance or horizontally for accessory space, and it stays rigid under extreme torque for clean force feedback.
If you change brands later, add-on mounts are available for other brands (see compatibility), so you keep the same cockpit infrastructure.

Building a sim racing or flight setup
Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.
Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.
Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.
Setup and use
- Choose vertical or horizontal orientation for the channel.
- Fix the kit to your cockpit's uprights.
- Bolt your Fanatec base directly to the kit.
- Set height, reach and angle, then tighten.
Care and maintenance
Check bolts after the first sessions and monthly with high torque.
