NexusFlight Throttle Quadrant: overview

The NexusFlight Throttle Quadrant is a modular four-axis throttle: fighter-style levers come fitted, and 737-style and A320-style modules swap in for airliners.

Four independent axes with built-in detents and adjustable damping control throttle, speedbrake and flaps, with configurable virtual detents and mechanical stops.

The control panel adds 23 physical controls – 10 multifunction buttons, 3 rotary knobs, 3 toggles and a landing gear lever – with six RGB-backlit buttons that react to telemetry without plugins. Connect by USB or straight into a NexusFlight base.

Building a home flight simulator

Stick, yoke or both. Fighter jets and helicopters fly with a stick and throttle (HOTAS); airliners and general aviation use a yoke or a side stick with a throttle quadrant. Force feedback bases add real control loading: you feel airspeed, trim and stall buffet through the controls.

Panels make it real. Autopilot panels, flight computer displays and instrument screens put physical buttons where the virtual cockpit has them, so you fly by feel instead of clicking with a mouse.

Mounting. A desk clamp is enough to start; a flight cockpit or side mounts on a sim rig keep controls rigid and at the right height. Rudder pedals complete the setup for coordinated turns, taxiing and crosswind landings.

Setup and use

  1. Place it on the desk or mount it on the plate.
  2. Connect by USB or to your base.
  3. Choose the lever module and detent profile in the cockpit configuration software.

Care and maintenance

Keep the lever tracks free of dust; wipe the panel with a dry cloth.
