NexusFlight Airliner: overview

The NexusFlight Airliner is a dedicated home flight simulator cockpit that recreates the seating position, sidestick geometry and feel of a modern airliner flight deck. It is not a gaming chair with a joystick – it is a purpose-built flight sim rig.

Sculpted ABS side panels echo the smooth contours of a commercial airliner fuselage, and an officially licensed pilot seat with HOTAS compatibility and lumbar support keeps you comfortable on long-haul flights.

Left, right and centre flight control mounts are included, plus a reinforced yoke platform and a heavy-duty adjustable rudder pedal tray.

Driving: can also take wheel bases from Fanatec, Logitech, Thrustmaster, MOZA, Asetek, AccuForce, Cammus and Simagic, plus major pedal sets and shifters.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Assemble the frame and side panels.
2. Fit the seat and adjust it to your height.
3. Install the left, right and centre mounts and attach your sidestick, throttle or yoke.
4. Mount rudder pedals on the tray, adjust everything and calibrate in your simulator.

Care and maintenance

Wipe panels with a soft damp cloth. Check fixings after the first flights and periodically.

Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
