NexusFlight airliner autopilot module: overview

The NexusFlight airliner autopilot module recreates the A320-style flight control unit with its distinctive push-pull knobs, so you manage speed, heading, altitude and vertical speed exactly like the real crew.

Custom segment displays reproduce the real character style and spacing, and display, character and button lighting adjust independently and sync with the sim.

Add the left and right EFIS modules for a complete glareshield; in expansion mode they also control transponder, weather radar, TCAS, APU and lights.

Building a home flight simulator

Stick, yoke or both. Fighter jets and helicopters fly with a stick and throttle (HOTAS); airliners and general aviation use a yoke or a side stick with a throttle quadrant. Force feedback bases add real control loading: you feel airspeed, trim and stall buffet through the controls.

Panels make it real. Autopilot panels, flight computer displays and instrument screens put physical buttons where the virtual cockpit has them, so you fly by feel instead of clicking with a mouse.

Mounting. A desk clamp is enough to start; a flight cockpit or side mounts on a sim rig keep controls rigid and at the right height. Rudder pedals complete the setup for coordinated turns, taxiing and crosswind landings.

Setup and use

1. Place it on the desktop stand, a VESA 75 mount or a cockpit bracket.
2. Connect it to the PC by USB.
3. Install the cockpit configuration software and pick your aircraft profile.

Care and maintenance

Dust with a soft, dry cloth; avoid liquids and solvents on the display and keys.

Returns

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
