NexusDrive Core 5 Truck Set – 5.5 Nm Direct Drive Base, 400 mm Truck Wheel, Pedals & Truck Wheel Clamp

NexusDrive Core 5 Truck Set: overview

The NexusDrive Core 5 Truck Set is a complete truck simulator setup: 5.5 Nm direct drive base, a standard-size 400 mm truck wheel, two pedals and the clamp that holds the big wheel securely.

The truck wheel has an aerospace aluminium rim, 14 backlit short-travel buttons, two aluminium thumbwheels, two ultra-thin joysticks and 10 RGB LEDs, on an all-aluminium quick release.

Unlimited rotation and smooth direct drive feel make long hauls relaxing and manoeuvres precise.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Clamp or bolt the base.
2. Fit the truck wheel with its clamp.
3. Connect the pedals, power and USB.
4. Pick a truck profile in the configuration software for PC and the mobile app.

Care and maintenance

Keep the base vents clear; update the firmware.
