Mouse Shelf for Aluminium Profile Sim Rigs – 200x240 mm Plate with 400 mm 40x40 Profile & Brackets

Mouse shelf for aluminium rigs: overview

This mouse shelf gives you a dedicated surface for your mouse right at the rig, so you can work menus, setups and streams without reaching for a desk.

It is a complete kit: a 200 x 240 x 4 mm plate, a 400 mm black anodised 40x40 profile and four brackets with hardware.

Slide it along the rail to the ideal position on our profile cockpits or most other 8 mm slot rigs.

Compatibility

Rigs: our aluminium profile cockpits (NexusRig Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie, NexusHaul Truck) and other 8 mm T-slot extrusion rigs.

Mounting on aluminium profile rigs

The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.

Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.

Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.

Setup and use

1. Fix the 40x40 profile to the rig with the brackets.
2. Bolt the plate to the profile.
3. Slide to position and tighten.

Care and maintenance

Wipe clean; check bolts occasionally.
