Heavy-duty sim floor: overview

This heavy-duty sim floor gives your aluminium profile cockpit a solid footrest – a 3 mm diamond plate that rests your feet comfortably between pedal inputs in long racing or flight sessions.

It fits our aluminium profile cockpits and other extrusion rigs with an outer width of 580 mm and inner width of 500 mm.

Everything you need to install it is in the box.

Compatibility

Our aluminium profile cockpits (NexusRig Fortress, Vanguard, Titan, Sprint, Rookie and Formula Hybrid) and other extrusion rigs with 580 mm outer and 500 mm inner width.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Insert T-nuts in the profile.
2. Position the plate and fix it with the screws and washers.

Care and maintenance

Wipe clean; check screws occasionally.

Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
