Haptic control box for pedal reactors: overview

This control box powers and manages the haptic feedback of our NexusPedal haptic pedal reactors – the linear motor modules that make your pedals vibrate with ABS, traction control slip, clutch bite point and road surface feel.

The CNC-machined aluminium housing is durable and handles heat well, and the configuration software gives full control over vibration intensity, frequency and calibration, plus firmware updates.

It needs the accessories power supply to operate.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Mount the box on the pedal assembly.
2. Connect the haptic reactors and the accessories power supply.
3. Tune effects in the configuration software.

Care and maintenance

Keep cables clear of pedal travel; avoid liquids.

Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
