Deep-dish drift wheel 350 mm: overview

This 350 mm deep-dish drift wheel is made for sliding: the large diameter and deep dish give leverage and space for fast hand-over-hand corrections, and the light structure keeps it responsive.

An Alcantara-style rim with red stitching gives a tactile, race-ready grip, on brushed black aluminium spokes.

It mounts with or without a button box using a 6 x 70 mm or 3 x 50 mm bolt pattern, and comes with mounting screws and a dust cover.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Bolt the wheel to your hub or quick release (70 or 50 mm pattern) with the countersunk screws.
2. Fit to your base and set a large rotation for drifting.

Care and maintenance

Brush the Alcantara-style grip and wipe with a barely damp microfibre; use the dust cover when not in use.
