Asetek Front Mount Plate & Brackets – 15 mm Aluminium for Asetek Forte, La Prima & Invicta

Asetek front mount plate and brackets: overview

This plate and bracket set front-mounts an Asetek SimSports direct drive base – Forte, La Prima or Invicta – on most universal wheel plate decks.

The 15 mm high-grade aluminium plate gives outstanding rigidity with zero flex, and the anodised finish is durable. Angle and distance adjust for the perfect driving position.

It is upgrade-ready: it also works with the NexusMount base kit and the NexusRig Velocity wheel mount.

Compatibility

Asetek SimSports Forte, La Prima and Invicta (and other Asetek front-mount bases).

Universal wheel plate decks; NexusMount base kit; NexusRig Velocity, Velocity Carbon and GT Hybrid; our aluminium profile cockpits (NexusRig Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie, NexusHaul).

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Fit the brackets to your wheel deck or NexusMount system.
2. Bolt the Asetek base on by its face.
3. Set angle and distance, then tighten.

Care and maintenance

Check bolts regularly.
