49-inch curved super ultrawide monitor: overview

This 49 inch curved monitor gives you the field of view of a triple-screen setup on one panel. At 32:9 there are no bezels splitting your mirrors or the apex, no triple-output GPU configuration and no bracket gymnastics – one VESA mount and you are racing.

The 5120 × 1440 DQHD resolution equals two 1440p panels side by side: sharp, but far less demanding on your graphics card than a 5K or 8K ultrawide. An R1500 curve wraps the edges into your peripheral vision at normal seated distance.

With 165 Hz and 1 ms MPRT, track markers, cars and terrain stay sharp at speed, and picture-by-picture lets you keep a telemetry app or stream feed next to the race.

Who the 49-inch curved super ultrawide monitor is for

Drivers and pilots who want immersion without three screens:

  • Sim racers moving up from a single screen
  • Flight simmers who want a wide cockpit view
  • Streamers who want a dashboard or chat next to the game
  • PC and console players (DisplayPort and HDMI 2.1)

Features in detail

32:9 super ultrawide, 49 inches

One curved panel covers roughly the width of three standard monitors, without the bezels.

5120 × 1440 DQHD

Two QHD screens' worth of pixels, which keeps the image sharp while staying within reach of current mid to high-end GPUs.

165 Hz, 1 ms MPRT

A high refresh rate and fast response keep fast-moving edges sharp instead of smeared.

R1500 curvature

The curve is tuned for normal seated racing distance, so the edges wrap toward you rather than distorting.

PIP and PBP

Show a telemetry app, SimHub dashboard or a stream feed beside the race without a second monitor.

Adaptive sync

AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible keep the picture tear-free.

Rig ready

Standard VESA 100 x 100 mounting and +5° / -15° tilt fit the arms and stands used on sim rigs.

Compatibility

Inputs: 2 x DisplayPort 1.4 and 2 x HDMI 2.1 for PC and consoles; 3.5 mm audio out. VESA 100 x 100 mm fits our single monitor stands and most monitor arms.

For 165 Hz at full resolution, use DisplayPort or HDMI 2.1 from a capable PC graphics card; console output follows the console's supported modes.

Setting up screens for simulation

Single, triple or VR. A single ultrawide is simple and affordable; three screens give peripheral vision for side-by-side racing; a VR headset gives true depth with no stand at all. Many drivers use screens day to day and VR for immersion.

Distance and field of view. The closer the screens sit to your eyes, the more realistic the field of view. Cockpit-mounted stands move with the rig and keep the distance fixed; freestanding stands keep vibration from bass shakers and motion away from the screens.

Check VESA and weight. Every stand lists the VESA patterns, screen sizes and weight per arm it supports. Curved screens usually need a little more depth on the arms.

Setup and use

  1. Place it on the included stand or mount it on a VESA 100 stand or arm in front of your rig.
  2. Connect DisplayPort (cable included) or HDMI 2.1 and the external power adapter.
  3. Set 5120 × 1440 at 165 Hz in your graphics settings and enable FreeSync or G-SYNC.
  4. Adjust tilt so the centre of the screen faces your eyes, and set your game's field of view to match the distance.
  5. Use PIP/PBP for telemetry or a stream feed if you want.

Care and maintenance

Clean the screen with a dry microfibre cloth; for marks use a cloth barely dampened with water, never spray liquid directly on the panel. Keep the vents clear and switch off at the wall during long periods of non-use.

Frequently asked questions

Is one 49-inch screen as good as three monitors?

It gives a similar horizontal field of view without bezels across your view and needs only one GPU output. Triples can go wider; the 49-inch is simpler to set up.

What graphics card do I need?

DQHD is about the pixel count of two 1440p screens, so a card that runs your sim well at 1440p high settings is a good starting point for high frame rates.

Does it work with PS5 or Xbox?

Yes, via HDMI 2.1, at the modes the console supports.

Can I mount it on a sim rig stand?

Yes. It uses standard VESA 100 x 100 mm.

Does it have speakers?

Yes, 2 x 3 W, plus a 3.5 mm audio output for headphones or speakers.

How long does delivery take?

Shipping is free worldwide. Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days and usually arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking by email.

Can I return it if it is not right for me?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, as long as it is new, unused and in its original packaging. Email metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start a return.

Is it covered by a warranty?

Yes, a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects on products bought from our store.
