NexusDrive Elite Ultimate Gen3: overview

The NexusDrive Elite Ultimate Gen3 is our flagship direct drive wheel base, with 35 Nm of peak torque from a premium industrial-grade servo motor engineered for force feedback. It turns steering from an accessory into a professional racing instrument.

Every unit is individually calibrated and digitally modelled, and a re-engineered control algorithm gives smoother, quieter operation and extremely refined feedback. Real-time telemetry effects add kerbs, bumps and slip detail on top of the game's force feedback.

A 23-bit absolute encoder (8,000,000 steps) reads every tiny movement. Please note: it needs a NexusLink Hub to operate, and a wheel-side quick release is not included.

Compatibility

Requires one NexusLink Hub to operate (sold separately). The wheel-side NexusLink quick release is not included.

Mount on rigid aluminium profile cockpits with a front-mount plate (for example the NexusMount direct drive front-mount plate) or a sturdy wheel deck.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Mount the base on a front-mount plate or wheel deck using the included bolts.
2. Connect the control box, power adapter and the NexusLink Hub (RJ45).
3. Fit your wheel with a compatible quick release.
4. Install the configuration software, set your profile and test.

Care and maintenance

Keep the base's ventilation clear and check the mount bolts regularly – 35 Nm puts real force through the rig. Update firmware with the configuration software.

Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
