NexusWheel Formula Carbon Pro: overview

The NexusWheel Formula Carbon Pro is a top-tier formula sim racing wheel with a full carbon fibre body handmade in the EU – layered carbon like a real race wheel, with no metal inserts.

A 5-inch 854 x 480 touchscreen shows car data at a glance, three RGB-backlit OLED screens label your functions, and 11 RPM plus 6 marshal RGB LEDs react to telemetry. Native SimHub support and a dual-core ARM processor drive it all.

There are 123 programmable inputs – thumb encoders, multi-switches, 10 RGB push-buttons and rotaries – plus quiet magnetic shift paddles and analogue clutch paddles with adjustable bite point. This version has four paddles.

Compatibility

PC. Universal hub for 50.8 mm and 70 mm bolt patterns: fits our NexusDrive bases and Simucube, Asetek and Fanatec Podium hubs, plus any 50.8/70 mm quick release. Needs powered USB (spiral cable included).

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Fit the wheel to your quick release using the 50.8 or 70 mm pattern.
2. Route the USB spiral cable to a powered USB port.
3. Configure screens, LEDs and inputs in SimHub.

Care and maintenance

Clean the carbon and screens with a soft, dry cloth; keep the USB connector strain-free.
