This top monitor mount adds a fourth (or second) screen above the centre display of a NexusView steel tube triple monitor stand – handy for an overhead view in flight and truck sims, a stream feed, telemetry or a chat window.
It is height and angle adjustable, so you can tilt the top screen down toward your eyes when seated and fold it outward for storage.
It suits flat and curved monitors and TVs up to 50 inches with VESA 100 or 200 mm.
Drivers and pilots adding a fourth screen:
Mounts above the centre display of a triple stand.
Tilt the screen toward you or outward for storage.
Monitors and TVs up to 50 inches.
Fits most monitors; 300/400 mm needs an extension plate (not included).
Fits the large NexusView steel tube triple monitor stand and the triple stand for the NexusRig Apex, where the poles are about 705 mm (27.8 in) apart. Not for aluminium extrusion stands – use the aluminium overhead mount instead.
Screens up to 50 inches with VESA 100 x 100 or 200 x 200 mm.
Single, triple or VR. A single ultrawide is simple and affordable; three screens give peripheral vision for side-by-side racing; a VR headset gives true depth with no stand at all. Many drivers use screens day to day and VR for immersion.
Distance and field of view. The closer the screens sit to your eyes, the more realistic the field of view. Cockpit-mounted stands move with the rig and keep the distance fixed; freestanding stands keep vibration from bass shakers and motion away from the screens.
Check VESA and weight. Every stand lists the VESA patterns, screen sizes and weight per arm it supports. Curved screens usually need a little more depth on the arms.
Check fixings after moving the stand. Route the screen cable down a pole with ties.
