Cockpit-mounted aluminium monitor stand: overview

This cockpit-mounted sim rig monitor stand bolts to your aluminium profile cockpit and holds a single monitor or TV up to 80 inches, including 34- and 49-inch ultrawides. It puts the screen closer to your wheel or flight controls than a desk ever could, for a truly realistic field of view.

Height, depth and angle all adjust, so you can set accurate FOV, reduce neck strain and stay comfortable through long sessions.

Start with one screen and grow later: the stand upgrades to triple and quad setups with add-on arms and overhead mounts.

Who the cockpit-mounted aluminium monitor stand is for

Drivers and pilots on aluminium profile rigs:

  • Sim racers upgrading from a desk setup
  • Flight simmers building a realistic cockpit
  • Truck simmers who need accurate dash viewing angles
  • Anyone planning to go triple later

Features in detail

Aluminium extrusion construction

Maximum strength and minimal flex.

Screens up to 80 inches

Including 34- and 49-inch ultrawide monitors.

Height, depth and angle adjust

Fine-tune distance and angle for accurate FOV.

Moves with the cockpit

Keeps screen alignment with your wheel and controls.

Upgradeable

Expand to triple and quad setups without replacing the base structure.

Compatibility

Fits our aluminium profile cockpits (NexusRig Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie, NexusHaul) and most other extrusion rigs – check your rig's dimensions.

PC and console setups; screens up to 80 inches with VESA mounting.

Setting up screens for simulation

Single, triple or VR. A single ultrawide is simple and affordable; three screens give peripheral vision for side-by-side racing; a VR headset gives true depth with no stand at all. Many drivers use screens day to day and VR for immersion.

Distance and field of view. The closer the screens sit to your eyes, the more realistic the field of view. Cockpit-mounted stands move with the rig and keep the distance fixed; freestanding stands keep vibration from bass shakers and motion away from the screens.

Check VESA and weight. Every stand lists the VESA patterns, screen sizes and weight per arm it supports. Curved screens usually need a little more depth on the arms.

Setup and use

  1. Bolt the stand to the front of your profile cockpit.
  2. Mount the screen with its VESA plate.
  3. Set height to eye level, then bring the screen as close as practical and set the angle.
  4. Match your game's FOV to the final distance.

Care and maintenance

Check bolts after moving the rig. If you use strong bass shakers or motion, consider a freestanding stand to isolate the screen.
